Community Participation

OUR COMMUNITY IMPACT

Empowering lives through active engagement

At Alive Healthcare Nursing School, our mission extends beyond the classroom walls. We are deeply committed to improving health outcomes across The Gambia. Our students are active participants in the community, working alongside seasoned professionals to bridge the gap in healthcare access.
Through strategic engagement with local clinics and public health initiatives, we provide our students with the unique opportunity to apply their clinical knowledge in real-world settings while directly serving the people who need it most.

Mobile Health Clinics

Our Mobile Health Clinics are a cornerstone of our outreach program, delivering essential primary care to rural areas in Gambia where healthcare facilities are scarce. Students gain invaluable experience in remote diagnosis, maternal health monitoring, and basic treatment, all while bringing hope and healing to underserved populations.

Public Health Education

Prevention is the key to a healthier nation. Our students regularly visit local schools and community centers to conduct public health workshops. By teaching essential hygiene practices, nutrition, and disease prevention, we empower the next generation and their families to take charge of their own well-being.
